Recently seen an influx of Private Invites on VDC, is this normal?
How typical is this? Various Voices managers have been sending me private invites, and they aren't the notorious dataset training ones.
I haven't booked a single job on Voices.com since signing up in late November (though I do audition frequently), so is this like a throw-you-a-bone thing or a marketing tactic to keep me subscribed? Can't find anything online other than "Clients may personally invite you to their jobs via Private Invite" and so on, but these are all manager run listings. I'm not well familiar with the site, so any insight would be useful as to whether this is standard fare.
Regardless, I'm glad to have more projects to audition for, just thought it was strange to be added to what I assumed was a list for folks typically booking through their site when I'm evidently not that. Let me know if any similar experiences, and if it resulted in actual bookings!
