Just a rant, as I am tired of wasting time every time to claim miles for a ridiculous reason.
It feels less like a loyalty program and more like a test of patience.
Last time, they wrongly credited my Miles to another account, and I still had to send 3 or 4 emails with more info requested each time to correct their mistake. Then the standard answer,"oh it might take up to 8 weeks to credit it to your account".
Really, 4 emails and eight weeks… to fix an error you made?
End of March, I just needed a few hundred miles to maintain my Gold status.
Now, with the delay created by SQ, I need 8 thousand.
It seems they make the process as troublesome as possible to prevent people from claiming their miles.
Has anyone else run into this kind of thing, or is this just exceptionally bad luck?
