Is it better to punish an innocent or let a guilty run free? According to your religion
Is it better to punish an innocent or let a guilty run free? According to your religion
Is it justified to insult a religion just because it seems false or bad?
I'd say it's bad, for example I may not really love a certain faith but it's forbidden in my religion to do so and I don't like to speak Ill of anything
I'd rather question it and just ask Information about it to see if I got the wrong idea or anything
Title
What is evil? I asked myself this question on why could something created by god be something so disgraceful, so is started to think and this is my conclusion (not all of it but the summary):
Evil doesn't exist, what does exist is lack of good (analogy: light and a shadow, darkness is just absence of light) let's just say I'm "evil" and I care only about my benefit so I take advantage of people for it, my actions weren't pure evil as it's completely natural to want something for yourself but the "evil" comes when you take the "good" (being fair to other people) out of it
Does it make sense? What do you think?
Let's just say our village of 1000 people is having a really hard time because of droughts, weather and other similar stuff
You have the choice to sacrifice the body of a new born baby to make sure your village makes it
What do you do? Do you let your village die or sacrifice the newborn? (It's a garateed scenario)
the problematic is similar to the trolley problem, just a moral thing I didn't mean to lead you to sacrifice religions and such
