I’ve built a portable scanning table. The surface is a sheet of plastic that also holds my magnetic marker “trees.”

It features four threaded holes and a snap-together frame. I’ll be adding threaded rods so I can scan objects while they’re “floating.”

I urgently needed markers that wouldn’t cover the model AND I dont want to stick Marker Dots everywhere - so they needed to have a small contact surface while still allowing multiple markers to be placed there.
Depending on the application, I created smaller and larger markers.
