Private Sale Question

Some here may remember my 2022 37 was bought back by Ford & I rolled that $ into an R. I would have bought a base/no sunroof but wife was like .. just use the $ for a great truck.. and my boys added some pressure for a crazy fun truck.

WTS, the R is a BLAST!!! .. but it honestly isn’t best fit for our family. We travel with dogs, kennels, bikes, racks, etc.. I’m in no rush but considering switching to a Super Duty Tremor. We do off-road but not a ton. We don’t do desert runs. The ONLY thing preventing me from going to SD TODAY is that we live in Los Angeles and small streets/u-turns will be PITA.. I am already good with no parking decks.

My question.. do you think it would be easier/better to sell the R private sale vs trading in? Would I need a broker or is the process pretty easy. A trade in will eat up a TON of the equity I have in the truck and I would honestly prefer to sell it at market to someone so we both get a better deal… I just have never done a private sale of a vehicle.. well not since like the 90s in a different state.

Appreciate any feedback/insight y’all can provide.
