My top 3 points for why Dems should vote for Lucia Simonelli: there is daylight between her and Bob Harvie on 3 core issues:

1. supports a full moratorium on data center construction until we know about the effects on communities better, and then supports strict regulations

Bob Harvie is not as strict on data centers

2. supports healthcare as a human right and supports single payer Medicare for all plan

Bob Harvie believes single payer would “hurt the party”

3. opposes unconditional aid to Israel. Any aid, if there is any, should be contingent upon following international law

Bob Harvie supports unconditional aid to Israel

Simonelli was a policy advisor for Sheldon Whitehouse and so she understands the workings of the chamber and by extension, is something of an expert on climate change legislation

God forbid we wait until the actual primary is finished. The Democrats may “feel” Harvie is the best candidate. I’m sure that position has nothing to do with the fact that he offers unconditional support for Israel and will do as he’s told by the party if elected
