Any ideas on how to shake up the gameplay?

so I've been playing CoTL since launch, and i really like the game, wracked up a fair few too many hours in it, and it just doesn't hit that same spark anymore on new playthroughs. i've always stuck to a fairly standard build though, haven't really experimented with the fleeces or cursed cards or anything like that, so maybe that's the issue i'm having, but even on Very Hard with Pestilence Mode enabled, the game just doesn't feel all that difficult anymore. i still have fun with it, but i don't feel challenged. since i really just don't want to accept the fact that i might just not be enjoying the game as much as i used to anymore, give me some ideas for wacky playstyles or ways to shake up the gameplay that i can try out.

thanks.

i was told i should post this

i don't know why i made this, it was more sleepless night 3 AM shenanigans that drove me to spend time and effort on this idea, but i ended up completing it and one of my friends told me i should post it on here just because i spent time to make it.

so here's Cyn being tormented by the most disgusting, despicable, ghoulish, hellish, vile, freakish, abominable, revolting, nightmare-inducing, demonic freakshow to ever exist in gaming, and my personal most hated enemy in all of gaming, the Poison Headcrab from Half Life 2.
