Calorie counting app suggestion/help
I am an obese man, I am 6 foot 4 inches tall and about 460 - 470 pounds, 26 years old, I work at a fast food restaurant and eat for free and don't really ever cook (Im aware that this in itself is a problem but so is money), back in December I forced myself to buy a gym membership and went consistently (pretty much only doing tread mill) for about a month or 2, when I suddenly got sick end of January, and I haven't been since unless a friend wants to go with me which is usually once every two weeks. My work schedule has been flip flopping like crazy and now I'm on overnights which I actually like but it doesn't help my demotivation to hit the gym... I decided recently that I would at the very least get a calorie tracking app just to see and maybe help me be a little healthier, I've tried 3 different apps, foodvisor, my fitness app, and yazio, and all 3 have my calorie count PER DAY at 3700 to 4100.... I KNOW that's not right surely and I'm wondering what is causing that?
For the record, I do input in the questioning part of the apps that I am NOT active, that I am fat, and am not healthy nor have any experience being so.
Another thing I'll add in case anyone feels like knowing or wants to help with some tips, I understand I am 'young' and even in a couple years I will feel the wrath. I've been to doctors recently for my problems with my ankles and had every test and work done known to man, to even my doctors surprise (her words) results came back normal except for a slightly high blood pressure which she said to watch but not worry about yet. I have low stamina of course but I honestly am a pretty energetic person so I know I have energy to spend, I can walk and move, Jump and run (all be it not high nor far for both). The only thing I've noticed I struggle with that normal people can do is putting socks on my left foot, I know it's odd as hell but for some reason my right leg can lift easy and I can bend it easily but my left definitely can't as easily or for aslong.
Anyway sorry for the weird long read, any app suggestions or help / tips would be greatly appreciated, I really am tired of being fat but genuinely feel like working out and eating better is all so overwhelming and I can convince myself easily to not do it each day but I'm honestly too broke for a dietitian or workout coach and feel like it's unnecessary if I can just stop being a fool and commit
