Discord and Instagram Infostealer Malware Help
Hello, sorry if I do or say anything wrong I don't really know what I'm doing.
My Instagram and Discord got hacked yesterday with that Mr Beast scam. I reset my passwords for those accounts and my emails (should I also be resetting passwords for all my other accounts too?)
I also switched from an HDD to an SSD about 8 months ago so I wiped my new SSD and re-cloned my old HDD data back onto it. I'm really paranoid though so I kept worrying that what if I actually got the malware BEFORE I ever upgraded to an SSD and I never realized? What if it was on my HDD too and I just re-cloned the malware back onto my SSD?
I found this sub and browsed it a bit and saw that there's some people here helping with this exact sort of problem so I'm hoping I can get some help too.
I saw other people doing this FRST scan thing so I hope this is the right way to get help. Please let me know if it isn't.
