I am breaking in new 719s right now and am having some trouble with the tongue. The issue is that the leather folds slightly behind the speedhooks on the inside, so the fold sits right on the inner sides of my ankle bone. I haven't had fully gusseted tongue on a boot and my ankles are fairly skinny so I don't know if I should just keep wearing them and wait for them to soften or if I need to change how the tongue folds to fix it.

Any advice?
