Here are a few psionic magic items built around psychic power, telekinesis, mind control, and mental defenses. The Sword of Psionic Manifestation is the main one here, giving a character that classic psychic warrior feeling with a manifested psionic blade, extra psychic damage, a reactive mental shield, and telekinetic strikes against distant enemies.
The page also includes the Helm of Telepathic Command and the Staff of the Psionic Overlord, which lean more into domination, telepathy, and spellcasting.
The second page features the Staff of Mind Mastery, a legendary item for spellcasters who want to boost psychic damage, cast powerful mind-affecting spells, retaliate with mental force, and protect themselves from charm, fear, and other psychic threats.
I really like psionic items as rewards because they let you bring mind powers into a regular 5E campaign without needing an entire psionics system. They work especially well for psychic warriors, aberration-themed campaigns, mind flayer plots, alien ruins, strange lost civilizations, or any player who wants their character to feel like their power comes from pure willpower instead of traditional magic.
These items are part of Psionic Magic Items, a collection of unique psionic magic items. You can also check out my bundle of small D&D manuals on DMsGuild, which includes Psionic Magic Items.

This week's map is the Jungle Rubble (40x40), some lovely little jungle ruins for your party to fight crocodiles, jungle goblins, or very small dinosaurs probably. That's what I remember from Tomb of Annihilation at least, but it's been a while but those seemed to be the usual suspects. Anyway, ruins maps have always been some of my favorites to make and I feel like they're almost always relevant, so I can't imagine you'll never not need something like this when journeying through the forest.
If you like the map and are interested in more, come by my Patreon, I've made a bunch and I seem to show no signs of stopping. And yes, I seriously draw these in Photoshop.
Did this for a client recently! Here’s some info about the characters
Drow Warlock: Cold, calculating, and always three steps ahead. Speaks little, observes everything, and treats every interaction like a quiet negotiation.
Dwarf Ranger: Gruff but dependable, with a dry sense of humor. His bond with his monkey companion is stronger than most friendships.
Human Cleric: Compassionate and devout, guided by faith and a deep desire to help others. A calming presence who sees the good in people and offers hope in dark times.
Half-Elf Rogue: Witty, guarded, and sharp-tongued. Keeps emotional distance but fiercely loyal once trust is earned.
Human Barbarian: Bold, fearless, and driven by instinct. Thrives in chaos, with a competitive streak and a surprisingly warm heart beneath it.
Tiefling Bard: Charismatic and mischievous, always performing—even in battle. Loves attention, but hides deeper insecurities behind charm.
Enigma’s Puzzle Box, Stormforged Gauntlets, and Luminous Shard of Healing are three scaling wondrous items built for long-term character progression.
Enigma’s Puzzle Box is a relic of knowledge, illusions, and reality manipulation, starting as a tool for investigation and identification before growing into a powerful item that reveals hidden truths, creates convincing illusions, and eventually protects its wielder through veils, duplicates, and escape magic.
Stormforged Gauntlets are made for characters who want to channel the fury of the sky. They begin with lightning resistance and thunderous magic, then evolve into stronger storm spells, immunity to lightning damage, and finally the power to unleash a devastating storm of vengeance.
Luminous Shard of Healing is a radiant support item tied to restoration and divine magic. It grants access to healing magic early on, then grows into stronger restorative effects, eventually allowing the wielder to create a sanctuary of light that heals wounds, cures diseases, removes curses, and restores allies.
These are items from Growing Magic Items - a collection of evolving magic gear designed to grow alongside your characters.
Growing Magic Items are magic items with four tiers of rarity that evolve and unlock new capabilities as characters progress through levels or achieve important milestones. Their progression can be tied to character level, personal achievements, or specific quests, allowing you to adapt them easily to different campaign styles and power levels.
After the collection performed extremely well on DMsGuild and reached bestseller status, I decided to reinvest in the project by recommissioning all the artwork, giving the entire collection brand-new illustrations, alongside light revisions and a handful of new Growing Magic Items added to the book. If you already own it, you can download the updated version for free on DMsGuild.
You can find over 80 Growing Magic Items on DMsGuild. You can also check out my bundle of small D&D manuals on DMsGuild, which includes Growing Magic Items Collection.

Hello Everyone!
It has been a while since I pushed out an update to both Amellwind's Guide to Monster Hunting and the Monster Hunter Monster Manual a supplement for Dungeons & Dragons 5th edition. The most notable thing in this update is, its a close out of MHW and MHR monsters as I prepare for Monster Hunter Wilds coming out next year.
For those who haven't chanced upon this yet, about 6 years ago I saw a monster hunter homebrew that wasn't super balanced and was a random assortment of monsters. So I set out to update those monsters and provide them to anyone who wanted to use monster hunter monsters in their d&d games. Eventually through the support of the d&d homebrew community, it eventually turned into this, A way to run a Monster Hunter Style game in a D&D setting. This is the newest update to that work.
First, I finally got around to creating Narwa the Allmother and Zorah Magdaros (complete with a giant map that took me hours and hours to get done). Narwa became a thing like frostfang barioth was in MHW. It just slipped my mind and I never got around to it when I was reminded about it, until now. Due to that, I currently have 0 official monsters left to make that aren't from Frontier, online, stories, or explore. It feels a bit surreal, but I still have plenty of work I want to do. I want to get more tempered and young monsters built, to help spread out some of the stronger tier monsters and bring them into the lower levels in some way.
A map for use when running the Zorah Magdaros statblock.
I have also added a new weapon to the manual. It took a while for me to decide, on a few different ones I have made recently for my HR3/4+ patrons, if they fit in what my view of what should be in AGtMH. The wire knuckles felt like they filled a minor gap that the other weapons didn't really provide. They were mainly created for use by monks or a class that might dip into figher for the unarmed fighting style, but any class can use them for the utility they provide on a hunt.
You can find both new updates on my usual google drive links below and AGtMH on GMbinder, but for some reason the MHMM will not update on GMbinder, so I apologize to those who are using the site version.
While those updates I felt were worth mentioning there is still a bunch of new content in each book. Here is a break down of all the updates I wrote down:Monster Hunter Monster Manual New Monsters
I mentioned somewhere around the WotC debacle that I was looking to also work on a PF2e conversion. This process has been slow going, with parts built here and there, along with some monsters. Last month or the month before, I finally figured out how I want to do my monster materials and their loot tables. I spent months breaking down items from PF2e to figure this out and with it out of the way, I am getting ready to do more weapon feats, monsters, and items. My intent is to do these side by side with my 5e content as best I can.
I still plan on chugging away at 5e content. There are maps, location stat blocks, young and tempered monsters to make in addition to the Frontier, Explorer, Online, and Stories monsters I am creating. Then when MHWilds is out, I will be making all of those monsters too.
If you like what you see please feel free to check out my Patreon, where you can get access to all sorts additional and early access content. I also have a FoundryVTT module that has not been updated with these most recently changes, but the plan is to get them out next month.
Doesn't have to be a mainly grave cleric build, even just a dip is enough. Looking to optimize Path to the Grave for a self buffer combatant, instead of it serving more of a support role hoping the next player after you does a sneak attack or something.
