A (newish**) fan of Baseball, and Dodger Baseball specifically
I'm Canadian. Married a Cali native, met the family last summer. I was not a baseball fan. But during the 3 weeks in my 1st California trip, we watched multiple games. I learned alot and was legitimately entertained. Learned terms, learned their names.
Then life continued, didn't think about it for a few months. And it was Dodgers vs Brewers in the playoffs. And I was in it. Subscribed to whatever we needed to watch the games. We won that. And then went on to face Toronto.
My brother in law and my sister are both cheering for the Jays. And here I am, a new fan, and from Montreal (Montreal hockey fans don't like Toronto). And I'm like, I don't care if this is the only Canadian team there is, they are from Toronto. Any other city, maybe this post is very different or nonexistent.
And what a series that was!! I stayed up until 3am during that 18th inning. I jumped up, partially confused, in game 7 when we won, because I wasn't sure it was over, I'm new. It got me, the Dodgers got me.
This whole post was about me thinking this Padres game today was very playoff like... but I ranted on...
Let's Go Dodgers! Let's Go!
