Help me understand DT suppressors.
I know nothing about suppressors and I've been looking to order a Lyman Rekkr suppressor. I figured that since it’ll be my first suppressor that that price point is hard to beat and I won't feel too bad if I eventually upgrade or mess it up.
That said, I saw someone’s post about DT suppressors “walking off”. I didn't know that that was a possibility and it kinda had me going down a rabbit hole.
On Lyman’s website it says this about the DT Rekkr suppressor, “An integrated stainless steel muzzle brake spins gas in a way to continuously tighten the suppressor onto your muzzle.”
Is this a gimmick or is this type of tech/engineering legit? I know many have not been able to get their hands on these suppressors specifically, but I thought it was worth asking.
