Meng Merkava Mk4M with Trophy 1:35 WIP

Just started on this project so will post regular updates as I go along. This kit is very well reviewed and quite detailed. I have opted against PE add ons but will get resin rear basket to add and some balls and chains from Miniatures. I was considering getting ET Model detail upgrade and their got their side skirt kit but not sure what I will go with at the end. The lower hull is assembled and ready for priming. The reason I am splitting it up is that once the included tracks go on it would be difficult to get behind them to paint. This kit features workable suspension which is nice. I will not weather this much as I want a nice clean look.
The PE were airbrushed with some MrSurfacer 1200 as a primer and the hull is numbers are sprayed in white. They will be then covered in black and paint removed from raised numbering to give it authentic look. There are 6 sets of numbers included to give six options for paint schemes.
Next the lower hull will be primed and painted and tracks assembled. The kit comes with individual links with two parts for each link. Each track is made up of 95 links. It’s going to be a tedious process to assemble but I am hopping to get it done in next few days.
