Finally finished my first Final Fantasy. 25 years after its release.
I've been wanting to play Final Fantasy games for ages now, but for some reason I never got to actually play it. But then last year I finally bought FFX HD remaster and both FFVII remakes. Just few days ago I finished the story of FFX (so close to its 25 year anniversary coincidentally) and I loved it so much.- the story, characters, beautiful music and cinematics. I had blast for all 55 hours it took me. However, I must admit, I don't feel like I have patience for the 100% grind. I'm afraid it would sour my experience of the game as I do not enjoy grinds and I somehow managed to ruin my enjoyment of Expedition 33 by grinding optional bosses, so I don't want to repeat the same mistake. Do you think I'm making a mistake by not trying the endgame? Also is X-2 worth playing? I'd love more story for Spiral and my favorite characters, but I've seen some people say it ruins the original game somehow? Also I'm curious about your first final fantasy game and what made you love it?
