that was a great game. let's not blame the refs. the refs been terrible all season and we almost always overcame the biased calls. michigan played great. (their fans are horrible but that's true for every big10 fandom).

We did however had our chances. but i'm PROUD of our team- despite how shaky we looked, despite not clicking on all cylinders in practically every game except that one game vs st johns, we made it all the way to the finals. WE FOUGHT HARD AND FOUGHT LIKE HUSKIES TILL THE VERY END. NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED ABOUT. ON TO THE NEXT SEASON!

We know that our past games or their past games mean NOTHING and have to fight like we always do since everything is on the line tonight. Win OR Lose , we are proud of this team. We have been resilient all season (except the st john's games) but Michigan is NOT st johns, and we're not the same team that lost to St johns in the Bigeast tournament - we've significantly risen our level of play. IF we play like we did during the 2nd half of that duke, game - where we're hungry and focused and refuse to lose- i think we win this game despite the refs and what the pundits have predicted.

We never cowered in the face of adversity - and like Coach Hurley said, it IS appropriate that we face a goliath of a team like Michigan to win it all.

But are they really that much of a Goliath? did everyone conveniently forget DUKE was the #1 overall seed and that they beat Michigan in late February?

i THINK momentum IS on our side. I like our chances. LET'S GO UCONN!!! MAKE HISTORY TONIGHT!
