Hello, I made a post earlier and deleted it, what I thought was that I had a faulty light switch, Position 2 disables the Foglights on Australian delivered models.
Does anyone have any idea how to re-activate this functionality? I know it's not strictly legal but I want to restore how it should be on a Euro model.
Hello, for reference I have a 1985 model, delivered to Australia, but it's mostly identical to the UK Model.
When I operate the combi-switch, as per the manual:
Position 1 illuminates Standing Lamps correctly.
Position 1A illuminates Standing Lamps and Fog Lamps correctly.
Position 1B illuminates Standing Lamps, Fog Lamps, as well as Rear Fog lamp correctly.
Position 2 illuminates the Dipped Beam correctly.
Position 2A illuminates the Dipped Beam, but the front Fog Lamps fail to turn on.
Position 2B illuminates the Dipped Beam, front Fog Lamps fail to turn on, but the Rear Fog Lamp illuminates.
I am unable to operate both the Dipped Beams and Fog Lamps at the same time.
