Females, 2005-2007. Did this happen to you?
Okay, okay, okay. This is for my ladies who went into the military around 2005-2007. This is a light-hearted post and in no way I feel scared or whatever. Just curious.
When I went through processing back in the day, my recruiters told me that the personnel at might verify that I’m female.
I went to the San Diego M E P S and did the duck-walk thing. The next step was to go to a room with a doctor. I was told to put on a gown, just like a normal PAP-smear. I was in the stir-ups. Then the doctor came in, took a look underneath my gown. He put his fingers like open close peace sign on my vagina lips and said “peekaboo! It’s a girl.” After that he told me to get dressed and on to the next thing.
I was so young and naive. I didn’t know if this was a normal thing. Just curious, what was your experience, ladies?
