As a man in East Africa seeking a serious relationship abroad, looking for honest advice (Rwanda)

I’m a man in my early 30s from Rwanda, and I’ve been following the passport bro discussions for some time. I’m curious to hear directly from people in this community.

As a man seeking a serious relationship with a woman from abroad (Europe or America), I wonder if there are women who are interested in meeting men from Africa for genuine long-term relationships, or if international dating mostly goes the other way around.

I’d also like to hear from passport bros or anyone experienced in international dating: what makes someone from another country stand out as a serious potential partner? Is it values, personality, culture, stability, or something else?

I’m not posting as an ad, just genuinely looking for advice and perspectives as someone in my early 30s who is open to building something serious across cultures.

Looking for Advice

I’m a videographer with a full time job that pays around 500k RWF monthly and I also get side gigs that bring in around 400k monthly. The problem is most of that money goes into monthly expenses, equipment, transport, bills, and normal life stuff.

Recently I managed to save around 2M RWF and I’ve been thinking seriously about building something outside videography.

I realized most of my income is skill based income. If I stop working, the money slows down immediately. Now I’m trying to think more about assets based or systems based income that can eventually make money without depending fully on my time.

For people in Rwanda or similar economies, what side businesses would you recommend starting with around 2M RWF that are realistic and scalable?

I’m open to ideas outside media/filmmaking.

Passport Ladies where are you hiding...

Any passport ladies or white queens here in Rwanda? 😅

Asking for myself and my fellow brothers who are interested in dating outside our borders and seeing what kind of vibe international love can deliver. 😂

If you’re white and living in Rwanda and open to connecting, maybe it’s time to give Rwanda a chance. We’re friendly, funny, hardworking and some of us even know how to cook beyond noodles!!!

Edited I am not looking for money or anything like that just wanna Exchange culture language and spread Love beyond borders I need someone who wanna see what Rwandan Men can deliver

I was watching a YouTube video where someone said he receives about 33k Rwf from his pension savings. It made me think. My mom also received a similar amount from my dad’s savings after he died in 1994. My grandmother used to get around 5k Rwf monthly from my grandfather’s pension after he passed away.

It made me question whether some of the systems we trust are really fair. The money people spend their whole lives contributing ends up coming back in very small amounts. It feels like we are chasing things that do not truly benefit us in the long run.

Another example is mobile money fees. Services like MTN charge fees for almost every transaction, and over time it adds up to a lot of money. Subscriptions are another issue. I once paid around 48k Rwf monthly for Mango internet with a promise of 100 Mbps speed, but the actual speed was always around 12 Mbps. That feels less like a mistake and more like unfair practice.

There are many things like this we accept without questioning, including hidden bank charges, overpriced data bundles, and services that promise more than they deliver. When you start paying attention, you realize that some of these systems are designed in a way that benefits companies much more than the people using them. N.B This post Is not political
