How to get around when solo traveling?

I know this sounds a bit funny but I'm looking to do some solo traveling within the United States, such as national parks or really anything nature related.

Catching a flight is no issue but once I land how do I exactly get from point A to point B? I assume I can just rent a car but it all seems overwhelming.

Anyone else feel "weird" being in your apartment bedroom?

It's been almost a year since I've moved into my first luxury apartment and so far it's been absolutely great. The living room, bathroom & kitchen are furnished really nicely.

I've been having issues with my bedroom though and lately I've been sleeping on my couch because of it. Any insight is helpful!

So yeah my bedroom is kind of bland still, I have two cheap (kinda ugly) night stands, a cheap black amazon bed frame and a cheap amazon desk where I have my video game station at but it's still a nice freaking bedroom overall, two big windows and I hung nice curtains but for whatever reason I just kind of feel weird or isolated whenever I'm in here. It's hard to explain. I'm sure it has to do with not being fully furnished yet but I feel so lonely whenever I'm in the bedroom.

Anyone have any tips on how I can make it more homey or comforting ?
