Surgery after a lot of previous surgeries / adhesions

I've seen a surgeon and planning on trying keyhole surgery privately but if the adhesions from previous surgery are too much they will need to stop the operation and I will need to consider taking meds and / or waiting for an open surgery on the NHS.

Feeling a bit stressed about it. Apparently on the positive side, my surface scars are below the belly button rather than higher up.

They usually do a belly button site for the keyhole but with me can do one a bit higher up to stay away from the previous scar.

I'm really hoping the surgery works as it will be a bigger surgery otherwise (might take several hours and need 2 surgeons apparently) and he did say the meds sometimes don't work and need taken for a really long time.

Anyone else been in a similar position with previous surgery? How did it go? Thanks

Inheritance- what happens to pensions and assets please?

If I was to inherit our home and a private pension from my husband would it stay in that form (e.g. pension to be withdrawn when I reached pension age) or would it need to be cashed in, please?

Do we need to set up a disabled person's trust as part of our will and inheritance planning?

Any advice please on this, welcome. Married with two young adult children. I'm on PIP and have ASD. Have capacity as deemed in a mental health assessment done recently. Have other health conditions (neurological)

We are considering doing mirror wills and noticed a section on one person being disabled, a box to tick, then read up on Disabled persons trusts.

Would this be a suitable option for me or it is more suited for e.g. a disabled child or person packing capacity?

We would mainly be considering a property and pension and don't have savings. PIP and my cont based ESA are already non means tested, as I understand is attendance allowance.

Many thanks for any advice or where to ask about this.
