How male-dominated is the professional GIS field? Can I expect to deal with harassment/exclusion in a workplace? I mean beyond the default BS that comes with being femme, gender non-comforming, and/or queer in a patriarchal society (specifically the USA).

Anyone know of profesh groups that support/gather femmes and GNC folks in the GIS field?

I hate the name for this, always have always will. I don't have my own bike yet but my partner does, and we call it a Pixie bar bc Pixie is his nickname for me. BUT I want to come up with a new term that I can use outside my relationship. Looking for thoughts and suggestions!
