Is it always like this. Post-First week of work. 🇨🇦
Had my first week at Starbucks after working for a year at Tim Hortons, I am being trained to do closing and OMG it is so different from Tim Hortons, we have more people meaning it's easier to do the closing tasks and everyone is so chill, it's giving me OCD. I used to close with a strict supervisor that wanted me to make every surface spotless and we had to partially -deepclean every coffee-tea brewer and server, move the machines to also deep clean the counters, make every cup and lid dispenser full, plus, restock the drawers for the restock of the restock, wiping down every syrup, topping and screen. And on top of all thatmake complete clean the floors right before leaving to avoid making them dirty again besides cleaning them at 7-8. And we had an order and deadline to do all those things.
With my new partners everyone just kinda so whatever they want to a reasonably decent degree, everything is kinda stained, they just rinse all dishes or throw soap water into them and then washing machine, they don't even bother dusting off the carpets before swiping the floors and I feel so frustrated lol.
Is this the regular routine and attitude for Partners? should I chill out a bit more?
