For the past month I've been using this second hand Asus UX330UA I got off eBay for $100 USD. I put CachyOS on it as soon as I got it and since then this has been a great laptop. I use it just for web browsing and watching videos.

This laptop has an i5 7200u, 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage which looks pretty bad but for what I use it for it works great. The 57Wh battery has about 79% capacity remaining and it gets me through the whole day easily. The chassis is all metal and super thin and light with the classic zenbook spun metal finish on the lid. The bezels are a little big but besides that I would prefer this build over any similarly priced cheap plastic laptop new.

I wanted to try CachyOS for a while and the graphical install was pretty easy, and so is installing software. All of the software with the exception of TLP you can get from the CachyOS Hello app that starts at boot.

Overall it's been a pretty great experience this first month, just wanted to share my experience.
