I am currently in Europe - Cyprus (EU). Unfortunately I found Ironsworn Starforged only overseas at US, at 2 places. Amazon and Noble Knight Games.

What concerns me is the difference in price, which is pretty large. In Amazon it is 60$ and from Noble Knight Games is 90$. Why? Taxes perhaps? Aren't the same product? Both are the 'Deluxe' version, although I have no idea what the 'Deluxe' includes other than being hardcover.

Furthermore I asked ChatGPT and it told me to actively avoid getting my book from Amazon, but the reason why, was confusing and not clear.

What's my best option here?

Also, since we are on the topic. Is the book the only thing I need or do I need to order something else along (ignore dice, I have a bag of'em)

I want to get to the rpg and although I have bought a couple of PDFs that I never printed, I am tempted to buy the Expanded edition. My question the original series is officially ended and now only books for Expanded Edition will release?

To be honest that would be my preference. The new artwork and organization seems vastly improved and I am hopeful that some of the books will be reworked entirely to remive some bad theming (looking at you Troublesome Towns).

I am also not sure if the Expanded Edition books will just replace the old ones or be their own things entirely. So far the max level is 5, and the are no equivalents in the expanded edition to reach higher levels. Shouldn't they go after those books???

Any details on the above would be much appreciated since I am a bit on the loss here

Thanks again

I have the option of buying one of these two (despite pledge manager being closed) and I am really confused on which one to go with...

I know that Story of Many is the first project of the Haunted Mill games, opposed to Awaken Realms, who have multiple under their belt, but this is of no importance to me. Sometimes multiple projects, cannot let each project grow and one first and only foray, can be a passion project that shows.

I mostly want a story driven adventure. Not story-lite, but also to have meaningful upgrades etc.

With Songs of the Many, I see an overworld map, each location appears to be story-rich having its own unique dungeons, multiple multiple enemies (800+ standees) and items. They also revamped their fighting mechanics, from what they originally planned, and now it seems a very fun experience. I have heard from many that the theme is a bit grotesque (which I do not like), but I couldn't find any indication of that.

For Lands if Evershade, it first appeared as an Elden Ring clone and with some controversy about AI art, I didn't bother to look at it more. However about BoardGameCo and Shelfside prototype review, it appears it is more than meets the eye. I already have ISS Vanguard from Awaken Realms, and I enjoyed its writing. I saw that this one is also a more story-driven game, as Shelfside mentioned that they had approximately around 1 fight appearing after around 2 hours of gameplay. So not a fighting-centered game at all. What kinds turns me off though is that it looks like an Elden Ring rip off and the card play seems limited (much less cards). Not only that, but there are 6 10-15 hour adventures as expansions for it. So what do I get with only the Core game? Last, but not least, I already have Arydia and this appears to be a very similar game to it.

FYI: The solo mode, for both games needs to be two-handed

Any opinions, thoughts about these 2? What would you choose and why?
