Inherited signed Pippo Oriani portrait/mixed media piece — trying to determine if original encaustic work or later reproduction

Inherited this from my mom—my grandmother was an antique dealer (Akron, Ohio), and I’m working through a large collection of artwork and trying to identify a few pieces.

This one appears to be signed “Oriani,” and I believe it may be by Italian artist Pippo Oriani. The back still has an old gallery/exhibition label that references multiple works by “ORIANI Pippo,” including one described as:

“La statua”
“Lizeuse“
“Rivelazione”
“Arlecchino con fiori”

Trying to figure out:

• Does this look like an authentic Pippo Oriani work?
• Original mixed media/encaustic vs hand-enhanced print/reproduction?
• Approximate age/era?

Included photos of:

• Front
• Signature
• Back
• Gallery/exhibition label

Would love any insight you may have.

Appreciate any help—thanks!

Trying to Identify the Harbor Location in This 1982 Maritime Etching

Trying to identify the harbor/location shown in this 1982 limited edition print/etching. I’m starting to think it may depict a real fishing harbor in Nova Scotia or Atlantic Canada.

A few details:

• Maritime/fishing village scene with clustered boats and wharves
• One boat appears to have “PNR” on it
• Style and boats remind me a lot of southwest Nova Scotia fishing communities, possibly Clark’s Harbour/Cape Sable area
• The print is dated 1982 and appears to be edition 1/150
• I now believe the artist may be Pascale Gravel d’Autane (French-Canadian artist)

The title may possibly be “Joli Port,” though I’m not certain.

Does this location look familiar to anyone from Nova Scotia or Atlantic Canada? Even if not an exact match, does it resemble a specific harbor/town to you?

Would really appreciate any insight.

Identify what is written and signed on this etching/print

Trying to decipher both the title and artist signature on this limited edition print/etching from 1982.

My assumption is:

• Far left (first photo) = title
• Middle = edition number (1/150)
• Far right (second photo) = artist signature + year

Far left/title:

The first word appears to have a ring above the first letter, almost like an Å. After going down a rabbit hole, I started wondering if it could be Scandinavian/Nordic. One possibility I came up with was “Avli” or “Åvli,” though I’m not confident in that at all. Really struggling with the second word.

Far right/signature:

Looks like it may start with a D and end in “le” — maybe something like:

• Doscale
• D…cale
• …cole
• …scale

One thing that stands out is that the 2nd and 3rd characters seem separated from the flowing cursive remainder of the word, which makes me think I may be parsing it incorrectly.

Would appreciate any help deciphering either the title or the artist name.

Inherited this vase from my mom—my grandmother was an antique and collectibles dealer (Akron, Ohio), and I’m working through a large collection of glass trying to identify a few pieces.

This vase has a twisted spiral stem, four-point crimped rim, satin/frosted finish, and a light smoky blush/rose tint. The base has a rough pontil, and there’s an old inventory label inside that appears to read “Fratelli Toso 1914.” Assume this was written by my grandma.

Mainly curious about:
-whether this looks consistent with Fratelli Toso
-if 1914 seems plausible
-approximate value/rarity if authentic

Would love any insight you may have.
Appreciate any help—thanks!

Inherited these colored stem glasses from my mom—my grandmother was an antique and collectibles dealer (Akron, Ohio), and I’m working through a large collection of glass trying to identify a few pieces.

These are thin blown glass stem goblets in teal, green, and amethyst/purple. The purple and teal are slightly less and green is slightly bigger than 5 inches. All three have slightly different stem details and pontils/interiors, which made me wonder whether they’re actually from different makers or sets rather than a true matching set.

No labels or signatures that I can find.

Would love any insight you may have.
Appreciate any help—thanks!

Inherited this from my mom—my grandmother was an antique dealer (Akron, Ohio), and I’m working through a large collection of artwork and trying to identify a few pieces.

This one is an oil painting of a woman seated at a table arranging flowers. It’s signed “Alice Foster/Faster/Eoster/Easter ’92” in the lower left. The style feels late 19th century to me, but I haven’t been able to find anything definitive on the artist.

Framed in what looks like an older gilt frame, and the back shows an older stretcher setup (included photos of front, signature, and back).

Any idea who the artist might be, or if this is a listed artist? Also curious if the date is likely 1892 vs 1992.

Would love any insight you may have.

Appreciate any help—thanks!

Inherited this from my mom—my grandmother was an antique dealer (Akron, Ohio), and I’m working through a large collection and trying to identify a few pieces.

This appears to be a pastel (chalk) portrait on paper of a woman in traditional dress. The clothing looks like a Polish folk costume, and “Krakow” is handwritten on the back. There’s also a signature on the front that looks like “L. [unclear]” with a date of 1910.

The frame has an old Cleveland framing label on the back, so it was likely framed in Ohio at some point.

I’m mainly trying to figure out:
-Who the artist might be (if identifiable)
-Whether this looks like an original work vs. student piece
-Any insight into the costume/region

Would love any insight you may have.

Appreciate any help—thanks!

I’m trying to gather more information on them. Would love any insight you may have.

Landscape painting of a wooded scene with what looks like a small shrine or statue. Appears to be oil on canvas.

Back has a stamp that reads “Estate of George Adomeit” (Ohio artist).

Details:
Landscape (wooded scene with shrine/statue)
Oil on canvas (appears)
Unsigned
“Estate of George Adomeit” stamp

Curious if this could actually be by Adomeit or just passed through his estate. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Inherited this from my mom—my grandmother was an antique dealer (Akron, Ohio), and I’m working through a large collection of glass and trying to identify a few pieces.

Clear cased glass with a deep red inner core (controlled / sommerso-style look). Cylindrical form with a slightly flared rim and polished pontil. Height 3.75 inches and diameter 1.5 inches.

There’s an etched signature on the base that appears to be handwritten in script rather than block initials, along with what looks like a ’57 date.

Would love any insight on:

Maker / signature ID (does this read as a name to anyone?)

Origin (American studio vs European)

This set includes a larger pedestal bowl and a smaller matching dish. Pale pink with heavy controlled bubble texture (looks like bullicante?) and some aventurine-like sparkle mixed in. Scalloped rim, clear applied foot.

No visible signature or label.

Appreciate any insight—trying to figure out what’s worth digging deeper into

Inherited this from my mom—my grandmother was an antique dealer (Akron, Ohio), and I’m working through a large collection of glass and trying to identify a few pieces.

This one is a substantial piece—12.5” tall, ~8.25” long, 3.75” wide, and heavy. Beautiful cased glass with a soft pink interior and deep cranberry/red outer layer that really shows in the base and edges. The form is sculptural with a stretched, almost boat-like profile and pulled points.

No visible signature that I can find. The thickness and color layering feel quality—possibly mid-century studio or European, but not certain.

Would love any thoughts on maker, origin, or similar pieces.
