What if I dont have any financial goals but just want to save money?

If I am going through a career and personal life upheaval, therefore dont have any financial goals as such; how much should I save every month? Salary is 1.8 lakhs per month. WFH. Not married. Living with mother. Tier 2 city. Monthly expenses are not more than 25k. Rental income is around 60k per month (one 2bhk apartment on rent and 11 student PG rooms).

I cant confidently assume that I may not be employed for the rest of my life or if I will have constant cash flow per month. I wonder how people here on this subreddit are so damn confident that they will get to keep their jobs plus bonuses, will keep reinvesting and step up SIP and all that. I have zero confidence that I will be able to keep my job, looking at the million changes happening in the world around us everyday.

In such a scenario, what do I even save? And how much? Please help.
