My wife and I are planning a two week driving trip from Auckland to Queenstown that would include the ferry to south island. We want to mountain bike, visit waitomo caves and Rotorua, in particular. What is the best way to rent a car with a rack and bike for this trip? What are the can't miss places to ride and visit along the way?
