TIL About United 976, the "Worst Case of Air Rage Ever" that Involved a Heavily Drunk Man Threatening and Attacking Flight Attendants, Pooping Inside the Cabin, and Throwing Said Feces Everywhere; He Got Arrested by the FBI. Oh, and Portugal's President and an Argentine Minister were Also on Board.
This incident occurred back in October 1995, on a United flight from Buenos Aires to JFK aboard a 767, and a person named Gerard Finneran was the culprit. According to the Wiki article, "He pleaded guilty and was fined $5,000, with two years' probation; he had also agreed to perform community service and pay $48,000 to reimburse United's cleanup costs and the other passengers for their airfare."
