“Ranger Rooftop Panic”- Unknown/Lost Super Sentai parody video circa 2014-2016
PLEASE NOTE: Ranger Rooftop Panic is NOT the actual title of this video, I speculate the title is similar but it IS NOT THE ACTUAL TITLE (I used it because it makes writing this post easier)
Hey everyone, I’d like to ask about a super sentai parody video released in between the years of 2014-2016, as far as I can recall the video title was Japanese, and it was not only quite impressive but also a little bit scary, I want to find it purely for nostalgia but also because of how weird it is in concept.
What is it?
“Ranger Rooftop Panic” was either a Promotional Video, Marketing Stunt or a Prank that involved a business man being chased by rangers who look vaguely similar to sentai members, the business man himself is situated on the ground but a majority of the rangers manoeuvre on rooftops, it begins with the business man on the phone before somebody shouts at him, the two figures emerge, I believe they were either Green and Pink coloured rangers OR Red and White, the man Runs away before more rangers pop out and attempt to catch him, one colour I can 100% Remember was a GaoBlack look a like, I can also remember another green ranger being thrown into a landfill container
I’m guessing it was most likely a prank video as I recall citizens being present not really understanding what was happening, I also don’t remember if there was music playing or not but a part of me thinks that there was some low quality speaker playing music. It very well could have been a commercial which flew over my head but it was too amateur for that to be the case from what I remember
Does anybody remember this or have any leads? I’m planning on making a storyboard of how I remember the video going down in the next few days so that might trigger some memories
