Local Resident, Kanako Ketsukane, unveils to the UG scientific community a brand new reactor design. Using mysterious red conductive dust that was once thought to be useless,s combined with the abundantly found amethyst within the Wild East mines, has created a new machine capable of using the two to create a sustainable energy source capable of powering the entirety of the Wild East.

The Royal Scientist, Dr. Alphys, declined to make any comments at this time regarding a new source of power. This recent development of a more resource-manageable source has now put the necessity of the CORE into question. More at 11
