I feel like "The Ten Rings" deserve their own dark fantasy epic Show
Marvel should make a “The Ten Rings” prequel Tv series.
One thing I feel Shang-Chi never fully explored was the actual history behind the Ten Rings themselves. They’re treated as ancient and legendary, but we barely know where they came from or why there are exactly ten.
Imagine if each Ring originally belonged to one of Ten Kingdoms ruled by powerful warrior dynasties. Over centuries, alliances collapse, kingdoms betray each other, and war spreads across the ancient world until one ruler begins conquering the others and unifying all Ten Rings under one empire.
The Rings wouldn’t just be weapons, they’d symbolize fallen civilizations, philosophies, and rulers.
Instead of a typical MCU comedy-heavy show.
It should Give us:
- political betrayals
- martial arts wars
- ancient empires
- morally gray rulers
- legendary ring bearers
- different fighting styles/cultures for each kingdom
And eventually reveal that Wenwu wasn’t the first conqueror... just the latest in a cycle repeated throughout history.
I genuinely think this could become one of the MCU’s most unique and respected series if done right ,skip Giving it to Disney+ and maybe try other alternative streaming service such; Prime Video, Netflix, Peacock or HBO.
