GETTING ANOTHER CAT IS NOT AN OPTION….

My cat will not stop crying when I am gone and I don’t know what to do. I might have to rehome her
‼️‼️‼️‼️I HAVE BEEN TO THE VET AND MY CAT IS VERY AGGRESSIVE WITH OTHER CATS TO THE POINT WHERE SHE HAD TO BE REMOVED FRIM THE SHELTER AND COMPLETELY ISOLATED FROM THE OTHER CATS THAT LIVED WITH HER FOSTER. I AM ONLY CONSIDERING REHOMING BECAUSE MY LANDLORD TALKED TO ME AND SAID HE WILL NOT RENEW MY LEASE BECAUSE A LOT OF MY NEIGHBORS HAVE COMPLAINED ABOUT THE CONSTANT MEOWING. ‼️‼️‼️I HAVE A FEILWAY FOR EACH ROOM

Hi, my cat is about 5 years old and a girl, she was a stray cat that got tnred but was nice enough to be adopted out. I got her about 6 months ago. The shelter I got her from socialized her for an about a year. She doesn’t like other cats at all and was kept in a volunteers house as a foster because she couldn’t be kept in the shelter. She is a normal cat when i’m home albeit a bit aloof. She can be a bit aggressive during play and I don’t see her much unless she’s eating or playing me with me. She gets bored of play after like 20 minutes but she cas cat trees and vertical spaces to climb on the walls. I have a feliway and I give her gabapentin when I leave my apartment because of this issue.

The issue is she cries when I am gone until I come home. It is very concerning, my neighbors have complained and i’m either going to have to rehome her by the end of the month or move and I can’t afford that now. It’s very loud like in the video and I don’t know why or what to do. She keeps her space from me when I am home, so it’s not even like she misses me. I leave the cat TV on for her and she has plenty of things to do. She plays by herself and chills out at home but when i’m at work or out of the house she sits in the entry room and cries. I feel awful but I don’t even now what to do, she hates other cats and we have a one pet policy at my place. I really don’t have long to fix this and it makes me so sad. I’m at work 9-4 MWF and saturday.

Sorry for the short video longer versions wouldn’t upload. Vet is accessible cat is fixed and i’m an adult.

If you comment about getting another cat i’m blocking you lol.

what is the most you’d be willing to spend on vet care?

Hi. A few months ago we had to put down our family cat after she was diagnosed with cancer. She was 11 and all the medication and chemotherapy costs would have been too expensive for us to pay for, and we weren’t in a position to take out loans. It was around 5k for the treatment but if she was younger and had a better chance for recovery we might have done it.

What is the most that you’d be able to spend on your cats vet treatment. Everything is so expensive now. Obviously the answer is different for everyone depending on their financial situation but i’ve heard of people going thousands in debt for their cats and it makes me feel guilty for not trying to do the same. She was my parents cat but I grew up with her.
