Heard this from a reliable PR source, apparently Lakshya is feeling the heat from Ahaan’s success and is actively trying to outdo him, every project that Ahaan is being considered for, has Lakshya showing up, trying to make a pitch for himself to get casted instead. He is even offering to audition for roles that Ahaan has already been locked for. He apparently even irritated one producer who asked him to leave them alone until he actually delivers a BO Hit. Another told him that he has a list of who he’d sign and that he’s not on it. Lakshya is also doing the same for endorsement deals. So far he hasn’t snatched anything away, but the man is on a mission. Although some can appreciate his hustle, it seems like he’s actually irritating people and rubbing some people the wrong way, and that’s why he’s stuck in Dharma land.

Lakshya was also trying hard to get casted in Shakti Shalini opposite Aneet Padda as well, but Maddock was not too impressed with him. Some folks have even said that although he’s an outside he “acts like a nepo kid” - not sure what that means exactly. It could be his right association with Dharma.

It’s also not a coincidence that Lakshya’s upcoming film Chand Mera Dil feels like a Temu Saiyaara. The script of this film was heavily reworked after Saiyaara became a hit. The film was supposed to be a rom com. Dharma (of course they’re involved) Lakshya, and Ananya Panday are now trying to prove they can do the genre better. Ananya also hates Aneet Padda and is leaning into this narrative as well. It’s a formula film (angry man, soft girl and good music) unfortunately it’s missing some key ingredients - like talent.

I heard this tea from a reputable source. Recently there was an announcement about Teri Baaton Mein Aise Uljha Jiya 2, starring Shahid, Kriti and Janvhi Kapoor.

Surprise!!! Boney Kapoor is trying to ghost-produce the film and Janvhi is trying to push the team to make her the central character. She wants it to be her show and apparently she is trying to make Kriti’s character “the villain” rather than the “female lead”. However, at the same time Janhvi wants to play the robot as well.

On the other hand, Shahid is also having another meltdown. As reported, he’s been throwing tantrums regarding Cocktail 2 and is feeling like how he felt during Padmaavat. He apparently isn’t keen to work with Kriti again. Which is really just his way of releasing his frustration over the flopping of his last few films.

Kriti, I hear is not willing to play second fiddle to Janvhi, that too in a film that is a sequel to a film where she was the lead.

All of this is happening super early. The script of this film isn’t even complete yet and all three leads are at loggerheads. According to the source, the film may not even get made given all the drama already. If Cocktail 2 is a major success, then things might move ahead, although it’s unlikely they’d actually make Janvhi the lead - but you never know!
