What if the Gate opened in the Scottish Highlands, where a pack of werewolves are unknowingly residing…

What would happen if the gate opened in the woodlands of the Scotland, where Sadera initially thinks could be the perfect place to establish a base before expanding their conquest of this world further, but soon find out they are in the territory of a family of werewolves.

Who just so happens to think that these people would be able to give them the greatest feast they had. But the question lies not whether the werewolves or Saderan’s win…but if any of the latter get scratched or bitten by the beasts and carry an unsuspecting affliction to Falmart.

Organisms that have the potential to be incredibly powerful but are held back by simple flaws.

Changelings from Dungeon Meshi: The Changelings are a rather humbling but in reality a very tricky and outright very dangerous form of monster. Basically they are magic mushrooms whose spores have the power to alter anything that enters their Faery Rings, such as turning a hippogriff into a griffin, turning a katana into a broadsword, or most notably turning people into different races as the Touden Party demonstrates in both their encounters with them. However despite being one of the most (relatively) harmless monsters within the Dungeon, it is also arguably one of the most powerful entities within it, as it can literally alter matter itself and living organisms into nearly anything else imaginable. The applications and what that could potentially pose for the world would rival >!The Winged Lion!<, but the only factors that make Changelings not very dangerous is the fact they are a critically endangered species, its spores are rather easy to remove once it’s figured out alongside the unfortunate fact fertilizing the hosts eventually. But most of all, they are only at best, as intelligent as a Walking Mushroom.

However one can’t help but wonder what would happen if their evolution was pushed or could harness their metamorphic properties and overcome the issues using them. After all, given that Marcille was able to create a cure to quickly undo the spores effects after better understanding their nature, it is possible that with enough time and research, a method to safely use the Changeling spores and harness their powers without fear of being fertilized can be created someday.

The E-type Mold from Resident Evil 7-8: The E-type mold, or more precisely the Black God, is an ancient super colony that has been around for potentially millions of years. The mold is basically a genetic archive of every single organism that it has ever made contact with, preserving their genetic information and genetic memory through its esoteric hivemind. And is shown to be able cause incredibly complex mutations and grant great power to those who are compatible with the Mold such as Miranda and later the Four Lords via the Cadou parasites. However as Spencer summarized back when he learned about the ancient fungi, the only issue with the mold that made it ineffective for his eugenic plans was the fact its reach was quite limited and couldn’t spread across the world very effectively. Basically the mold despite its power, can’t really reach far outside its inhibited areas and this is shown with Eveline and the new Mold colony formed in Louisiana as it was limited to the swamps around the Baker estate. Meaning if an outbreak of the mold occurs it would only be a local threat that couldn’t be as horrific as the Raccoon City Incident. However despite its limited reach, it doesn’t change the fact the Mold is an incredibly dangerous and powerful organism that can be so much more if that one flaw was overcome. Something the Connections may begin to work on fixing after the events of RE9.

What if the gate opened up in the United States…but as it faces a second civil war.

What would happen if the Gate opened up in the timeline of the (2024) movie Civil War, where in a dystopian near future, America has become a war torn country as it has been divided between those who wish to overthrow the United States and the President serving a third term as he rules over the U.S with an iron fist, known as The Western Forces and Florida Alliance, the neutral states who wish to stay out of the civil war, and of course the loyalist states that try but are failing to put the rebel states back in line and rejoin the United States.

Yet how would the events of this timeline change if the Gate were to appear just as the second Civil War is going to reach its end?

Love at first sight. (Commissioned Artwork by Q from Twitter)

An artwork I commissioned by the talented Q from Twitter, and I’m happy with the results. Certainly Laios seems to think Marcille looks great.

Although if you’re wondering why she still has elf ears…well I guess the Changelings she was exposed to were a bit more flawed than the usual spores, lol.
