Flew to Chengdu just for these photo spots... worth it!
Alright, so I'm a photographer and I recently took a trip to Chengdu specifically to hit up some spots I'd been eyeing online. I figured I'd share the goods since I know a lot of people are looking for cool places to shoot when they visit China. Honestly, it was totally worth the trip, even just for the food alone!
Here's the list of spots I hit, with some quick notes. Hope this helps someone planning a trip!
- **Chengdu Twin Towers:** Classic, gotta do it.
- **"Fairytale Castle" at Ziranpai Community:** Afternoon light is *chef's kiss*.
- **Silver Taiin99 (rooftop):** Seriously, a bathroom with a view? Chengdu's flexing.
- **Tower of Life (Shengji Zhi Ta):** Super unique architecture.
- **Fudi Fucheng International:** More cool buildings!
- **IFS Hidden Spot (Lidu Plaza A):** Avoid the crowds at the main IFS panda.
- **West Expo City Metro Station:** Trippy tunnel vibes.
- **"Emerald City" near Lijiatuo Metro:** Morning light is your friend here. Walk 200m east from the station.
- **Tianfu Art Museum:** Modern and sleek.
- **Zhongba Forest Park:** Get some nature in ya!
- **Tianfu Greenway (JinCheng Tennis Club):** Head up on the greenway. Can't miss it.
- **Space-Time Tunnel at Sichuan Langjiu:** It's a pedestrian underpass near the company. Oddly cool.
- & 14. **Tianfu Art Museum (again!):** Different sections (A & B) - worth checking both.
- **Du Fu Thatched Cottage:** Classic Chengdu vibes.
- **Chengdu Chengyuan Painting and Calligraphy Art Museum:** Free entry and super minimalist.
- **Fanmu Flying International Cultural and Creative Park:** Artsy stuff.
- **Qingcheng Back Mountain Waterfall:** A bit of a hike, but worth it. Head up the small path next to the main entrance.
Seriously, Chengdu is a photographer's dream. If you're planning a trip to China, definitely add it to your list. You won't regret it. Any other cool spots I missed? Let me know in the comments!
Language exchange partner Needed
Hello everyone,
I’m a French teacher from Morocco looking for a language exchange partner.
I want to improve my English, and in return I can help you learn or practice French.
My idea is to have 3 practice sessions per week, focused on conversation, pronunciation, and real-life usage. We can correct each other and progress together.
If you are comfortable in English and interested in learning French, feel free to comment or DM me.
Thanks!
