How would you feel about a Cleveland Cavs vs San Antonio Spurs NBA Finals? A rematch 19 years in the making only this time it's 22 year old Wembanyama instead of 22 year old LeBron. On a 1-10 scale what would you rate the hype for this finals? Would it be a good outcome or a bad outcome for 2026?

I would personally rate this a 9/10 outcome to get this Finals for 2026.

Joker has to win the MVP if Nuggets get the 3 seed. I'm NOT a huge Joker fan but what he's doing right now is remarkable. SGA got his MVP last year, that's good enough for the foul baiter. If you Cap Joker at 4 it's fine but he belongs in the 4x MVP class with LeBron and Wilt. Cap him at 4 MVP not 3

The Nuggets have been put on his 300 pound shoulders and carried to the 3 seed which is a high enough seed to warrant MVP.

WHO GIVES A SHIT if you're the 1 seed or 3 seed?

Top 4 seed is all that matters. It's homecourt in round 1 and a lower ranked opponent after that it literally doesn't matter.

Who is 41 year old LeBron right now? What player currently or throughout NBA history is his best comparison? LeBron is at 21/7/6 stats line on 51/30/73 efficiency. The best offensive comparison is Jimmy Butler who was 21/7/6 stats line on 50/30/85 efficiency for Miami from 2019 to 2024 his Heat Run

Jimmy was the MUCH better defender so of course he was the much better overall player.

But it's crazy that at 41 years old LeBron James best offensive comparison is actually prime Jimmy Butler during his Miami Heat run where he led an 8 seed to the NBA Finals.

If LeBron still has that kind of offensive repertoire still somewhere in his old bones then we could see something incredible from the LAST MAN of his generation the early 2000s.
