I have a gen 1 that I've had for a little over a year and put on 20k miles (only at 77k now). The thing seems very good. But I'd really like a Gen2 due to the better mileage and the extra seat in the back. So my questions are as follows.

• It seems like the Gen1's have less extreme (costly) issues, is that true?
• It also seems like they corrected a lot of the major issues in the 2019 Volt, is that true?
