Im not got the time availability to commit to a big series rn so Im looking for good 40k standalone books that I can jump into without any prior knowledge of events or characters or feeling pressured to read sequel books before I forget things.

So far Ive read Storm of Iron, Rynns World, Hellsreach and Infinite & Divine and enjoyed them all.

Something available on Audible would be ideal but if not I could scrounge around for something highly recommended by multiple sources.
