Extremely painful period cramps
Hi everyone I am 18 years old and currently in uni. I’ve had my period since I was in year 12 and I’ve always had quite painful periods for the first one or two days of my period but for the first two years of having my period it was very painful to the point where I couldn’t even stand up but it calmed down for a long period of time. I do not have very long periods. My periods are roughly 4 days at max sometimes five but recently especially my last period I had crippling pain for the first three days (my period was only even four days so my for my whole period ),I was literally bad ridden in the fetal position and I couldn’t even go and make myself food because I felt like I was gonna pass that when I stood up so I couldn’t even take paracetamol or ibuprofen (not like they help) because you need to take it on a full stomach. It’s gotten to the point where I had to cool off work and I couldn’t even do my schoolwork. I’m not sure what to do. I also get quite large blood clots and honestly sometimes bigger than the expected. I know it’s recommended that if it’s smaller than a penny then it’s okay but mine are definitely larger than pennies maybe the size of a long chocolate finger (sorry for TMI). I know they go to diagnosis for these kind of things is that it’s normalised or endometriosis but I only have the symptoms in relation to my period. I don’t experience any other cramps outside of my period so I don’t think it’s endometriosis.
Feel free to give me some tips or any stories that are similar to mine I’m not too fond on going on birth control right now so if anyone has any other ideas LET MD KNOW!!!
