I want to have a home in Aspen or condo or build modest under 3000 even 2000 square feet is fine.

I’ve been to every ski town through summer and winter and I love the walkability here with the town being a grid and feel the most comfortable here. I know people think it’s snooty, full of celebrities or whose who of designer duds but I don’t see it that way I see it as a real old town with modern things too, great choices of restaurants there and nearby towns and lots walkability if you don’t ski all the time and it’s nice to have guests and grandkids in the future. I love the fact you can drive from there to anywhere else and I like the walkability. How can I find the least expensive lot, condo or home even a foreclosure and buy that within the next years. I would like this to be my second home for generations to come and base. If I want to go Vail I can if I want to any other ski town I can but I would like this to be my base. I’m always with my dogs will always have dogs and we love the dog scene here everywhere. They love the dog park. It’s low enough I don’t feel altitude sickness in town and the downtown area is flat enough for both my and husbands crappy knees. Plus we love the bike trail alongside the rio grande it’s enough for us to go far past Woody. No im not delusional. The property value holds steady here and rentals have a good earning so it’s also a wise investment.

Can someone tell me what can be done legally if you have a college student there and keeps getting served alcohol underage at all the bars, cvs, liquor stores and frats?

Don’t know how or if there is a fake ID involved or not. Now you feel your student has alcohol addiction and never did before and it’s escalating. But really even if there was a fake ID, I can tell a fake ID from a real. You mean to tell me the door people can’t distinguish a real ID from a fake one, nor can the servers. What about the Zyns aren’t you suppose to buy them after 21? Why are these sold with or without a fake ID at bodegas stores or CVS. I would like to know the legalities involved here.

On my end the following has occurred

I’ve slow down the financial support to $10-$15 a day for foods, and gas and such and I provide groceries. I’ve spoken many times on getting therapy and or seeing a psychiatrist and reaching out to any counselors available to help either with anxiety or social anxiety or how to manage it all. I have an understanding and patient attitude and offer support in times that have gone in my opinion too far or I may think is escalating. The needle is not moving. The needle of maturity. I know 18-19 is hard to manage especially when you’ve grown up in a curated world or bubble let’s say. But at the same time I feel others are responsible because if I can see it happening then others can too. At what point do people actually assist others and help them either get help or reduce their problem. I forgot to mention my student has adhd and has never been medicated by self choice. I physically can’t force it and I physically can’t force a person into therapy. I also don’t want to turn my back as I know addiction emotionally and mentally and physically can spiral. But the question is what are all the legalities involved in all of this if I as a parent of a young adult is trying to mitigate the problem as well and provide help. If it was someone else’s kids I would talk to them too for the parent. I would help another person just the same.
