I wish we had a SW game like Dreadnoughts.

It'd just be nice to play as a ship larger than a gunship that we control directly. Especially because we could get original ship designs that could show up in more games and media.

The pictures are all from Galactic Battlegrounds.

They are the;

#1 Advanced Geonosian Starfighter

#2 Geonosian Transport

#3 & 4 Sonic Cannon (there aren't great pictures of it deployed outside of concept art.)

#5 Commerce Guild Bomber

#6 Commerce Guild Enhanced Bomber

#7 Commerce Guild Advanced Bomber

#8 Confederacy Air Cruiser

#9 Confederacy Freighter

#10 Confederacy Advanced Scout

#11 Confederacy Destroyer

#12 Confederacy Heavy Destroyer

#13 Confederacy Cruiser

#14 Confederacy Heavy Cruiser

#15 Corporate Alliance Heavy Artillery

#16 Corporate Alliance Energy Pummel

#17 Heavy Dwarf Spider Droid

#18 Heavy Homing Spider Droid

#19 Trade Federation Advanced Beetle Droid

#20 Trade Federation Energy Pummel

I feel like for as cobbled together as the CIS army is supposed to be, from multiple different corporations, we never really see a wide variety of different CIS stuff, and it appears more uniform than the movies made it feel.

It seems weird to me, that the Old Republic era got comics, novels, a series of lego sets, and 3 major games. But they never made spin-offs for it like Battle For Naboo was to Rogue Squadron, just built around episode 1. Or other games like the plethora of games such as Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force.

What kind of spin off would you have personally liked? Cause I think that an RTS would have been cool, or maybe a boomer shooter, as a play on the fact that it is set in an older time. So it'd be considered an outdated game next to something like Republic Commando or First Assault. (not that Boomer Shooters are bad, just as an idea.) I personally think something like 40k Epic: Final Liberation but set during say the Mandalorian Wars or the initial Sith attack in the Republic, before the cold war of SWTOR, would have been cool.

Idk, it's not particularly deep, but I was just thinking of 40k characters that could have a deep philosophical debate, partially cause I thought it'd be funny to go, "Haha, which 40k character could survive Anakin's Thesis paper on "The Tragedy of Darth Plageus the Wise".". But as I thought more on it, I just wondered, who would actually have an enjoyable debate amongst 40k and Star Wars characters.

Also sorry for not taking screenshots from in game vs just showing their concept art. I already beat Force Unleashed Switch once, so currently I'm at the start in New Game + and the level they show up in is the Penultimate mission. With there being no level select, as far as I know.

Primarally because of a few reasons;

  1. One thing always stated about Mandalorian culture is that anyone can become a Mandalorian regardless of background, and yet we primarily see Mandalorians that are either the original Taung race, such as Mandalor the Ultimate, or are human like Din Djarin, with very few exceptions. Meanwhile Chop'aa's Mercenaries are a collection of multiple different alien species. Since putting them in Legion would put them in the new Canon, I think it'd be cool if there was a Mandalorian faction mostly comprised of non human mandalorians.

  2. A good chunk of the species which are a part of Chop'aa's mercs are not currently represented in Legion. So with them being added into legion through his faction, it could open up possibilites for new kitbashes, such as making the small Jedi strike team that were sent to protect Palpatine from Grevious from the 2003 Clone Wars. Especially because Shaak Tii is being added to Legion.

  3. I really like Chop'aa's Basilisk War Droid design and maybe it could be the basis for a Basilisk War Droid pack, for other Mando factions to use. Even if it isn't, I'd love to play with a Basilisk on table top. The generic Mandalorian warrior design also looks pretty cool with the unique visor design.

  4. Chop'aa and Kleef would be pretty neat as hero's as one would have the potential of either being a Mando with an electrostaff or on top of a Basilisk War Droid. While the other is a Gungan with a vibroblade, who also has two back up droids that look pretty cool. They could also make the droids any one of the concept art designs, so it doesn't have to balance on a big wheel like the finalized design does.

  5. They have their own gunship design, which could then be used as a starting point for adding all of the other factions gunships. Like how the Mandalorian Fang Starfighter is going to be the first really large aircraft unit for Legion, to make way for the other faction's aircraft.

  6. Chop'aa himself, and his War droid would be playable for the CIS, as in his data sheet entry it mentions how he worked for the Separatists. As he thought that the Clones were an afront to Mandalorian culture.

There are other people who make up his faction, such as one that lobs grenades and another who uses chemical weapons I think. But still it would be cool to have them added to the Mandalorian's at somepoint after the expansion of say the Death Watch, to add a bit of variety to a mando faction, with non human Mandalorians. (Which would technically be a lore change, but his crime organization already composes of quite a lot of Mandalorians loyal to him, I don't think that changing it from some of them are Mandalorians, to, all of them are, would be much of a downside for adding them.

Outside of one bit of known lore, I feel like the Infinite Empire would fit well within the setting of 40k as they have a bunch of lore surrounding them that I think makes it more even.

For 1, the Rakata, like every race in 40k are extremely bloodthirsty, and like the T'au are extremely intelligent. Like to the point where they went from cave people, then the Kwa taught then the ways of the force and gave em some tech and next thing they do is start building the Starforge. This isn't a one off thing either. The Rakata of the Rakata Archipelago of planets devolved into a tribal state after they were cut off from the force and fled to the region. However, two of the planets have been able to start working together and made miniature versions of the Starforge, with no connection to the force, nor their previous technology. Beyond the sense that they felt they were missing something that was once theirs.

  1. Their method of FTL travel is literally torturing force sensitive people to death to tap into the Darkside then they use the soul energy to make a jump through Hyperspace. Considering that the Infinite Empire not only lasted for 10,000 years, but had regular trade routes and construction projects such as hollowing out a planet and turning it into a prison. They burnt through a lot of people.

  2. They were able to fight against a species that controlled half of the galaxy, and were allied with a force entity called the World Razer that could eat stars. Then they won, and sealed all that was left of the species in the prison planet with the force entity.

  3. Thanks to the Starforge, which was sentient and corrupting their entire civilization thanks to the dark side energies embued within it. They have infinite ships and can produce as many as they please in an extremely short period of time. Along with the the Foundry allowing for them to make entire armies of droids in seconds.

The biggest thing against them is the lore from Kotor that says they only ruled 500 worlds. But, this lore predates Star Wars The Old Republic, where a powerful force user within the Infinite Empire, broke away and ruled a sector of space that encompassed 1000 worlds. Who the Rakata were able to eventually defeat and also sealed away with his sith warriors and other creations in the prison planet aformentioned. So beyond the iffy lore of them only having 500 worlds yet being able to win against two empires that had half the galaxy + force god and 1000 worlds. I think that they'd fit pretty well in 40k.
