I wanna see your eyes

turn brown in the sun.

I wanna see your skin

folding when you smile.

I wanna see your hair

fall wild in the wind.

I wanna smell your body

in a crowd—and turn.

I wanna taste your lip gloss

and guess the fruit you chose.

I wanna hear you laugh

at jokes you didn't even hear.

I wanna wipe your tears,

and stay until you breathe again.

I wanna see you dance in rain

to the rhythm of the ripples.

But all I'm left with is a screen,
