2017 VW tiguan

Just got rid of my 05' civic, wanted something a little newer and not too expensive. I found one with 147,000 kms, and has the 2.0 TSI 4motion (really want for the winter). The Carfax comes clean with no accidents, and the is overall well maintained. Being sold for 12,000 canadian or 8700-ish USD. Ive heard its a relatively reliable and capable SUV, and wanted to know what people think/know about them. Also if bought, what do you recommend for maintenance, or just any tips in general would be greatly appreciated.

I just got rid of my old subaru outback, and been thinking about getting a tiguan. Ive heard they are relatively reliable and capable SUVs, often overlooked for rav4s and crvs. Its 147 thousands clicks for about 12,000 canadian dollars (8700-ish USD, with no accidents according to the Carfax, and has the 2.0 TSI 4motion (for canadian winters) Wolfsburg trim. I know it may be bias to ask a forum about tiguans, cause im sure you all either love them or greatly appreciate them, but what do you honestly think about the car? Do you believe this is a fair deal? And if bought what are somethings I should know regarding maintenance, tips or anything to keep in mind.
