Roms..?! Encrypted or decrypted?! Zipped or unzipped?!
Sooo I’m having trouble. I got some 3ds roms. Unzipped them into .cia using 7zip extension tool (was I supposed to do that?). Decrypted them using an extension I downloaded(again.. was I supposed to do that?). And then moved the decrypted .cia into my n3ds folder.
I put the sd card back into my device (rp6), ran azahar, and it said “INSTALLATION FAILED UNABLE TO FIND CIA FILES” but when i open up the file app, click on the sd card, open the roms folder, go into my n3ds folder, and click on the game…. I can open the game up with azahar and it runs perfectly fine?!!! Uh WHAT?!!
Any help will be appreciated.
This is my first time setting up a device and using emulators. Finding the roms hasn’t been a huge issue…it’s actually getting them to work inside the device?!! I don’t know when they’re supposed to be encrypted or decrypted. Zipped or unzipped? Or when files should end with .zip or .7z or .cci or .cia (I can go on and on) I don’t even know what that means. I’m not a computer person so take it easy on me.
