Biological father isn’t my father?
So I was curious about my heritage so I took a test through 23andme.
Some older lady that I matched with who shows up as a “close relative” reached out to me and we spoke on the phone. She shows up as my grand-aunt. I share 10% of DNA with her, and 13% with her sister.
She was curious about who my parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents were. I gave her all their names and where they grew up and none of it sounded familiar to her. She then told me that my biological father might not really be my father…
I just took an ancestry test today in hopes that it will give me more hints to who this lady is to me.
It just makes no sense how we’re so closely related and yet she isn’t familiar with any of my family.
Has anyone else discovered their father isn’t their father this way? 😅 advice is appreciated lol
