David Lynch: Works on Paper — sealed, complete with the original Steidl shipping carton
For Lynch collectors, this combo feels surreal.
The Works on Paper box alone is becoming almost impossible to find untouched, especially with the original carton still present. And the German Plexiglas DUNE release has such a strange cult aura around it — heavy, minimalistic, almost like an art object rather than a movie box set.
What I love most is how both pieces reflect two completely different sides of Lynch:
the industrial dream logic of DUNE and the deeply personal, tactile atmosphere of his paper works.
Sealed. Untouched. Pure shelf mythology.
