25 Min 5K

Looking for advice/training ideas to help me break 27 minutes in a 5K.

A little background:

  • Male, 50s
  • Most of my running is indoors on a treadmill around 4–5am
  • Using a NordicTrack + iFit
  • Garmin Fenix + Strava for tracking
  • Current focus is consistency and gradually improving pace without getting injured
  • Goal race is later this year

I’m not trying to become an elite runner — just want to become a stronger, healthier runner and hit a sub-27 5K.

For those who have achieved something similar:

  • What program or series would be most beneficial?
