It just hit me that 2 Fast 2 Furious is the Millenial dude bro version of Miami Vice.

Two stylish partners in Miami go undercover to take down a drug lord while surrounded by fast cars, boats, nightlife, neon aesthetics and a soundtrack defining its era. Swap Armani for oversized jerseys, Jan Hammer for Ludacris, and Crockett & Tubbs become Brian & Roman.

For many reasons, Los Angeles has always been one of my favorite cities ever in the world, its nice, it’s got a lot of rich history and culture, and every street can be seen on TV or anything can be seen on a movie.

Now, as a lot of people. I have spent the better 14 years playing GTA V, and I have got very familiar with the map. I know in reality that real Southern California is much bigger and GTA V is only a fraction of how big real Los Angeles is. But either way, I have got used to certain areas and I feel a sense of comfort with ‘Mirror Park’ in Los Santos, I’ll drive around there on quiet periods, the cool view of the city, and LS Rock Radio, which made me research the real life Echo Park.

What is the real life neighborhoods like? What’s the rent like around there? (Knowing LA extortion regardless of the area) what job do you do? Do you have kids? Is travelling around the city a nightmare? Is there any point of owning a car? I’d love some insights to the real Echo Park.

Tonight’s the night to ask. I have always been very curious about how life is like in Miami.. as a city that’s been in multiple of my favorite video games, movies and TV series. What is it truly like? Is it the typical crazy ‘Florida Man’ situation everyday? Is it as glamorous as it was in the 80’s? For a tourist from a colder country, would the weather be hell to get used to? Would you get laughed at if you wore a white suit there today? Genuine Florida natives. How is the Sunshine City? Do you own a boat? What do you do for work? Is the rent expensive around South Beach? Do people still retire to Florida for their final years?

You don’t have to worry about rent payments, you have some eff you money, bills are all paid in time, and you work a good job, do you have any kids? Genuinely a life I always loved the look of and wanted, but live in the lower bracket of life. No hate or jealously involved, just genuinely curious how it all is, what’s it like to travel into other parts of the city? Is there any point in owning a car?
