Had a terrifying fever dream that’s haunted me since I was a child

When I was very young, around 9 or 10 years old, I became very ill with a high fever and was delirious. My folks had me sleeping on the couch out in the living room because I had been vomiting. I had a juice pitcher next to me that I could puke in. My dad reported that at some point, I picked up the pitcher, kissed it, then threw it across the floor. I have zero recollection of this however.

Anyway. I had this dream, or maybe it was a hallucination, I’m not sure. Basically it involved gravity failing, and everyone and everything flying skyward. It was terrifying and SO real. It seemed to go on forever. One of the most horrific aspects of it was the noise. I can still remember it to this day, almost 40 years later. The deafening din of millions of terrified humans and animals, structures and trees and cars being violently uprooted and colliding in the mid-air. The sensation of being hurled toward space. It was really something.

I just thought I would share because I’m curious to see if anyone else has had a similar dream
